Why did you get fingersprint request ? I guess that’s only for people who are out of status?

I think it's because I'm in Canada for more than 6 months.

I don't think so,because my family name is so long and not a common name here hahaha and a friend of mine also brazilian she also got the request and would be impossible someone has a similar name here

Yes . So when I submitted file lawyer send back home police certificate . But not the one i got from rcmp

oh ok so you're fine.. if they request from canada they will request rcmp based on fingerprints

Oh I see . So Canadian police clearance is based on fingerprints . That why mycic says we do not need fingerprints and background check is in progress .
So basically here is the difference between back home and Canadian police clearance . Thanks

Request for Schedule A and PCC - October 30th 2017
Sent Requests- 15 December 2017

Ecas Sponsor side - Application received
Ecas PA side - In process(Medical received)

No communication in the last 7 months after the initial requests made.

I am the PA but We haven’t received any SA of any kind. Will it come on my online portal to which my paper application is linked? Or will it come as a normal email?

Now what happens? I am calm but my partner is panicking.

Also, I got turned down from a job offer today cause I did not have a PR! They had a 2 year contract and I only have just over 1 year left on my PGWP.

How soon do you think I will hear something? Any details? Any help? The more elaborate the better. I have been following this forum for months but I think now i want to get answers for my own case too.

Yes but m glad that it started around feb or March 2018 it took most of the processing time. Oh gosh I can’t imagine if it starts after 6 months I ll be crazy
