Dont know what wrong with my file took too long after Portal 2 still waiting for ECOPR since Sept 17th

Received PR card in the mailbox yesterday. Pro Tip: Once you see an update in the portal that your PR card application is approved and the card is mailed, set up CanadaPost MyMail service so you can track the mails coming to you in the app. For most of them, the PR card mail says "Canada Bank Note" as a sender, but in my case, it says General mail. Good luck, everyone.

Feb 17: Biometrics Instruction Letter

Feb 21: Biometrics submitted

Feb 21: PA Eligibility letter

Feb 23: Medical Instruction Letter

March 6: Medical undertaken

March 14: Medical marked completed

Sep 3: P1 received (Montreal). Notified IRCC of upcoming overseas travel.

Sep 20: Received notification from IRCC to reply to P1 again on return to Canada. Returned to Canada Oct 19 and replied.

Oct 22: Received P1 again, replied straight away

Oct 31: Received P2, submitted details same day

It was radio silent since May to September and since September it’s been quiet.
I’m just wondering as it is reaching close to 12 months of processing time and have seen others applied around the same time as me and after me have received the eCOPR.

Any thoughts by anyone? When I can expect to hear back for Portal 1?

You should definitely call IRCC if you haven't already done so. Try to get an idea of what stage the background check is at.

It's not far past the expected processing time when we applied, so hopefully you're not that far away.

I called them and it seems I just have to wait, still waiting on security and background clearance they said. Was hoping I could end the year with finally having my PR.
