No problem Btw what was the additional document request? My wife got additional documents request and after 2 weeks both eligibility and background checks were completed.
No, there wasn’t a request for additional documents from IRCC. We went to Dubai for our anniversary & travel documents were uploaded to keep IRCC in loop.

So basically, New Delhi office is taking more than 10 months to process a file ??!! My local MP got response from New Delhi that they will finish process before 10 months, In my case it will be 8 Jan.

- Still no further response. Reached out to my Local MP for update didn't get much help!
- Submitted a Webform to New Delhi Visa office yesterday for an update.
- Applied for GCMS notes today to get more visibility on the process.
Is there anything else I should do ?

My timeline is almost same as yours, I applied on Jan 26, 2024. I have been getting the ghost update almost every single day, but the tracker doesn't show anything.
So basically, New Delhi office is taking more than 10 months to process a file ??!! My local MP got response from New Delhi that they will finish process before 10 months, In my case it will be 8 Jan.
Not for all the cases . A friend of mine applied in May 2024 ; VO New Delhi ; Got the PPR yesterday. It's frustrating to understand what makes them work on NEW files when there's still a backlog of Old files waiting for responses.
My local MP said they do not have authority to access the files overseas. There is nothing they can do but wait & keep following up.
Hard to trust if they actually do put in an effort to get the information from IRCC or giving the answers we want to hear (Election candies!!)

I do observe "UPDATED" date changes every month since September but no "real" update on the File.

After that complete silence & Getting ghost updates. The tracker did not show any ghost updates between June 11 to Sep 27

I have reached out to the MP and they said the file is going through background checks and they told me to call them after new year like WTH? Does it take more than 10 months to do the background checks and how about the other applications which are getting approved in 3/4 months?
