I’m June 28th 2017, still processing background, haven’t started eligibility, passed medical send of March. Hoping to get some movement within the next month

We are July 18, 2017 AOR and we received request for medical on March 19, posted results within a few days and account changed to medical passed around March 27. No update yet on CIC account - still says "processing background check". Excited to get the AIP soon hopefully!

I have done this for my Post Graduate Work-permit, I sent out a letter to Vegreville with explanation of Job offer + copy of Job offer/Contract. With Attention on the Envelope. My Work Permit was processes within a week of the letter received. All the work permits go to Vegreville cic office, even inland application is processes at Mississauga office and the work permit application is sent to Vegreville, Alberta.

Thanks for the tip! Maybe I'll just do both: send a copy to Vegreville and submit through the web form as well. I mailed my OWP app to Vegreville (spousal sponsorship unit) and there is 0 messages in MyCIC after I linked it up.

Hi Guys,

I would like to say thank you to all who helped me for my PR application. I just did my landing this afternoon and im so happy that my long waiting time is over now. its has been 14 months since i submitted my application up to my landing COPR. Ive learned so much things in this forum and save money for the lawyer. again thank you so much and good luck to all!!!!!

I got my DM on Tuesday and then received an email for a landing interview that's scheduled for next Friday 9am in Kitchener! I sent a webform with one line, "My application is not in the normal processing time." and that seemed to have sped it up from where we last chatted.

Janii: when did you apply? I'm a Feb 2017 applicant. I have called many times and sent many webforms. Maybe I should try your line. haha

Just wondering Is your Sponsor side on ECAS shows the line says when they started processing?

Mine was June 19th 2017 and it is still shows in process and Application received on applicant side.

Hello everyone. We are Nov 22 and I just saw ECAS changed in both sides to "in process" and "medical results have been received"
It seems they used the old results done last July
