my consultant also told me that during landing both sponsor and applicant must be present as it helps them verify that it is a genuine application and you are still together.

Hi everybody. My application was received by CIC October, 11. I received my AOR December, 6, but my husband (sponsor) never receives an AOR. Should I be concerned? Thank you very much.

No the PA in our case got both the sponsor AOR and then a few days later the PA got the sponsor AOR (it was addressed to sponsor) - we didn't worry about it

Thank you for your reply. I haven't received anything addressed to my sponsor's name either. Only one AOR so far Is that normal?

honestly I wouldn't worry about it if you got the one AOR, the Schedule A & PCC request. that's all that matters

that’s normal. i’m also the sponsor and never received any email from cic. but my wife who is the PA received two emails. first one is instructions to link to online account, then the next day she got another email (but was addressed to me as the sponsor) saying they received the application for PR.
you can ask your sponsor to check on ECAS using the application number that was sent to you. it should appear there his application to sponsor you.

Hi everyone. I recieved my work permit application back today due to the luck of payment. My status expired last October 31. I am planning to send the same owp application I recieved back from cic with the additional payment hoewever some documents aren’t there such as the copy of passport and all the passport stamp, marriage certificate, photocopy of permit etc. Should I send it again with the app?!Anyone in similar situation?!
