No idea really yes 7 months total . Been married for 2 yrs before applying. Have a kid and maybe they had mercy on me since ive been in their system since 2011 haha.
Very quick for inland for sure. The wife and I have been married for more than 2 years, not sure if it speeds it up but guess less doubt in terms of the genuineness of the relationship, though we dont have children together. In the new application package one I remember one of the questions was if you can answer YES to a bunch of questions that included being married for more than 2 years and do you have children together...then they required very little other proof of relationship so must speed up that part of it.
Hi everyone, got a quick question: I'm being sponsored by my girlfriend and we live in BC. Recently an opportunity came up for me to apply for a better position within the same company in Ontario. I've already received my OWP that's valid until the spring of 2019. My question is would moving provinces affect my application? Would there be any delays in processing or will it raise any suspicion for the CIC people that will result in lowering (even a slight chance) my chances of getting PR?
After how long from the PA getting AOR should the Sponsor get and email/aor? I (sponsor) haven't had any emails yet, when I log into ECAS using the application number and my name/dob it says "application received" under the Sponsorship Application status so assume all is correct. Not worried, just seems Sponsors usually get an email a few days after the PA gets the AOR?
Are you able to tell me what numbers you pressed when you called, to get to the section where they tell you this information?
I sent in my schedule A and PCC back in July and my cic account hasnt changed to say background check in progress and wondering if its a glitch or they just havent updated it....
I'm still waiting too. Package sent out September 1st. Let me know when you get an AOR.
Also, when you try to check your application status, can you see "application received"? When I go to check our application with the receipt number, I get "sorry, we cannot find your application" (or something along those lines).
