Thanks for replying. My spouse's application has been a nightmare to deal with (although it should have been super easy, the lawyer we hired made some HUGE mistakes and this is our fourth attempt) I was hoping that it would be soon that we'd receive the AOR...will keep stressfully waiting.
Doesn't specifically say that. We used staples and got an AOR. Don't think they will return an app just for using staples (any examples of it here?), they just prefer you don't.

I have been reading for 2 days from page 1 (still in 176). Thank you all for your inputs-- very informative and helpful.
We were sent a request for CSQ and Schedule A, last September. However, we were not asked to submit Police Clearance. Is this normal?
Sharing our timeline, as follows: In-land Sponsorship with OWP
Application Sent: Saturday, 29 July 2017 AOR Received: Monday, 31 July 2017 Started Processing your application: Thursday, 14 September 2017 CSQ Request: Thursday, 21 September 2017 CSQ Submitted: Wednesday, 27 September 2017 CSQ Delivered: Thursday, 28 September 2017 Schedule A Request: Friday, 22 September 2017 Schedule A Submitted: Wednesday, 4 October 2017 Schedule A Delivered: Thursday, 5 October 2017
My application was sent September 1st and still no AOR. Would it go directly to the email provided in the application? I see many people here with AORs right after they send in their packages. I'm a little worried at this point.

We had an initial submission but it was returned due to a new form; which was changed last July, while they had our application submitted early June). That's why perhaps our AOR came out faster the second time.
App received by CIC: August 23, 2017 AOR: October 10th, 2017 CSQ request to Sponsor: October 12th - Application received by MIDI on October 16th Sched A and Police Certificate request: October 10th 2017 - Submitted on October 17th
(Sent explanation letter to justify lack of CSQ when I submitted my Schedule A, since apparently once you submit, it's all 3 documents) Medicals done upfront and passed on October 10th OWP: Sent with application on August 23 - OWP linked on October 16th (And for some reason dates from 08/17/2017, same as on the forms) Tourist Visa Extension Request sent on August 26th - Still waiting. Visitor status Expired on October 1st.

Hey guys I think the most recent AOR's were last week for applicants around Aug 22/23rd, average time taking 7 weeks. By that you are still around that timeframe and can expect something in the next few days. though quite possibly the waiting time for an AOR could have got even longer.. The PA should get the email first explaining to link account, I haven't seen anyone getting AOR's right after they send packages certainly not for INLAND apps.
