Can someone please respond about my question if have complete knowledge of application processes with categories and explain me scenarios with advice which route should I go ? Thank you
I need an advice from experts that which category should my spouse apply for spouse immigration and what scenario will be working best . My spouse has Us green card (visa exempt) to canada if he comes to canada as a visitor and get stay for 5 months can he apply for Spouse Inland application for PR ? as he will not need visitor visa or permit and he will not have any permit or TRV or visitor visa on passport, so would he be able to apply inland spouse immigration? As IRCC ask visitor visa or TRV for Inland application or should he go for outland application as it becomes more faster processing or he should go for inland application and apply with open work permit as well so he could stay in canada and within 3 or 4 months if he does not get reply for open work permit he could still apply visitor visa extension as he will be waiting for work permit approval and PR application will be processing . what is the best suggestion for him?
Hi, I understand you are married? If so, he can apply inland together with an application for OWP. Usually they issue those within 2 months or so. But you have to understand that the whole PR process will take twice as long than the outland one.
I submitted my inland application and OWP on the 22nd of Aug. I just find out I made a mistake on the spouse form. I used principle applicant email for both sponsor and person being sponsored. We just figured that out now. Can our application be returned because of that.
I got police report a year ago which I still have. Just wondering if I it still valid?

Regarding police clearance i called cic b4 due to i already have my police clearance issued nov 2016. The representative said its not valid anymore even it stated that its valid for a year. It should be not more than 6 months. Hope it help.

For Inland spouse application do we need to biometrics as well with OWP application if applying from within canada? Passport of my spouse is from Biometrics required country so would need biometrics from within canada or not ? if yes , will IRCC ask through request ? or we have to send before application submission (OWP +PR)

If your spouse did her biometric to get her TRV to come into Canada, you don't have to do another one. Just go ahead and submit your application with your OWP. No need for biometric again
Hi Everyone
I have question about visiting home country while inland spouses sponsorship in process. I called cic to ask that have a valid passport, OWP and visitor visa, Can I visit my home country for 2 week. The rep kept stating, "Canada is not a prison, you can leave Canada but re-entry is not guaranteed".
I'm not going with my partner, not sure if that's an issue too. I really want to attend my sister's wedding.
same thing here got my AOR april 6 and sent my PCC and SCH in June. No updates after that. does anyone knows the timeline from PCC to Medical request. thanks
