I believe there's some bug with that. But to make sure you can make a phone call to them.

I was surprised i got it so early because i feel there's nothing special about my application so everything is possible! So keep praying and good luck to everyone!

Congrats!!! Why is this interview, after the decision is made?

This is a normal step, on this process the Applicant will NOT get a Passport request neither will be required to reenter the country. On this interview they will asks the same questions the Border security ask when you land (trivial questions about crimes and etc...) and confirm that the Sponsor really wants to sponsor and will undertake the applicant for 3 years.

Hello. Sorry for the late reply. I have been busy with work. I think most of the area issue comes from is incorrect information.
Make sure you have all your information correctly. Are you the only applicant or do you have kids?

Please I have been unable to get a stright aswer about if the sponsors birth certificate is required. My husband who is the sponsor has a different first name on his birthday certificate and am trying to decide if to include it or not to avoid complications. Please help guys. Is the sponsors birth certificate required. Thanks

The sponsor can put his passport if you think the birth certificate will complicate things. And btw, I don't think birth certificate is required for the sponsor. I think it's only the applicant that require birth certificate

Are people still having problems with messages not showing up in the online account?

And what is the current delay on processing documents submitted by webform? I submitted Schedule A and PCC over a month ago and no update, the deadline to submit them has passed now too, but they were in several weeks before the deadline.

I am in the same boat as you, I submitted my Schedule A and PCC via webform on like the 29th May and they were due 8th June... and havent heard anything about whether or not they have received it and nothing has changed in my CIC account.... stills says background check and next to it 'not applicable'
I have heard of people sending the stuff in the mail and then it updates however there is still some people that have done that and no changes.... It's so confusing ugh!

I had the same message a while ago but didn't see anything. Until I called cic. They told me they have requested for my schedule A 3 weeks ago. So I will suggest you call cic.

Since you have no kids. The police certificate (PCC) they are asking is only for you. You can get it frOm the country you are from or anywhere you have resided more than 6 months

Hi there, If you mean the Police check and Schedule A then yes i did I sent these by the Webform which they instructed in the letter i received to do..
I didnt need fingerprints just the police check for me was required

I have to get PCC from my country Nigeria as I went there to visit family in 2014 and also get one from Whitehorse Canada where I reside now. Do I need fingerprint from RCMP here?

You don't need PCC from RCMP. You only need to look for RCMP designated company in canada where you can get your finger print done
