Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

What steps does it list under the Sponsorship Application side? For me I just have:

1. We received your application to sponsor PA on September 26, 2017.
2. We started processing your application on November 27, 2017.

I'm sure yours will be done soon once they get that final step done! Wonder what it could be though...maybe just a background check thing that's taking a while to process.

Under sponsorship application it says :
Decision made. When I click on it it says :

1. We received your application to sponsor PA on September 26, 2017.
2. We started processing your application on November 27, 2017.
3. We sent you correspondence on July 27, 2018 about the decision on your application.
4. We sent you correspondence on July 31, 2018 about the decision on your application

When I called them I said I never received anything on July 27 and they told me it's just a mistake they didn't send anything on the 27.

Under permanent residence application status it says :
Decision made. And when I click on it it says :

1. We received PA's application for permanent residence on September 26, 2017.
2. We started processing PA's application on July 24, 2018.
3. We sent PA correspondence on November 28, 2017. If PA has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have PA do so as soon as possible. Please wait until PA receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
4. Medical results have been received.

Yes, I was wondering the same, but the weird thing is that they told me to send it directly to an email account but I also did in MyCIc too.
For me, that was weird and they gave me only two weeks. That why I ask for advices, experiences...

If it was just a NOA that was requested, I don't expect to really take long for them to check your document. They just wanted to make sure the sponsor had income and was not on welfare. So I would expect SA to come as soon as they open what you sent them.

Depending on your location, the invitation letters comes as soon as a week or as late as 6-8 weeks after DM. I would not worry for the moment. If within the next 2-3 weeks you don't get it, try calling IRCC. And if unsuccessful in contacting IRCC, contact your MP. But, give it another 2-3 weeks, I'm quite sure it will come within that timeframe.

On the right, you enter your postal code and click "find MP".
Then a picture and the name of your MP will appear. Click on the name to get email and phone number to join his/her office.

This should be used only when you tried several time to join IRCC on your own and were unsuccessful. MPs have a direct line to talk to someone at IRCC, so the MP should be able to get an answer within few minutes.

So by September 20 you should get it.

Quick qn
My application was revived in April 2017 but they started to “process it in April 2018 and am still waiting
- they are still conducting my eligibility (for months)
-Medical passed
- No interview needed
- No biometrics needed

Is that normal??

That happen with us too. It ended up coming in the mail. I kept thinking email but our SA came by Canada Post only. Don’t worry, it’s probably on it’s way

Yes, the correspondence they are referring to is the SA that came in the mail, mine said the said the same thing. I’m sure they mailed it out on August 13th

Weird, on ECAS the sponsor side went from “In process” back to “Application Received”. On the PA side it still says “In process” but says “We started processing [PA’s name] application on August 17, 2018.” Did this happen to anyone else, and did you get a decision soon after that? I’m à September 26, 2017 applicant.

I got AIP on August 8, 2018. And on ECAS “ We started processing application on August 8, 2018” , still waiting for DM , I’m so frustrating now.
