Our application was received September 11

Mine was send from Mississauga to Vancouver and now to Edmonton where I live. I called them, that's how I found out. Where's your office?

Guys how did you manage to get RAMQ with open work permit and letter from employer? Everyone is saying that I need to wait for AIP. Any tips?

Hello every today we received two letter from immigration saying we both eligibility for spouse sponsorship. But no decision has been made is it possible to be denied at this point. We are so nervous my wife will have leave Canada. Received September 21th mississauga office

I was told by RAMQ that with OWP and a letter from employer saying that i am working full time job (40 hrs per week) it was okay to apply for RAMQ ..

AIP and OHIP question,

Hi everyone,

I'm a November 2017 applicant.
My timeline is.

Application Submitted: November 7th, 2017
Sched. A requested: January 10th, 2018
Medical Requested: May 11th, 2018

Wondering how long into the process people have been receiving AIP in the past few months?

I'm currently on a study visa as I'm doing a Masters at the University of Toronto. I married my Canadian wife in August 2017 and we submitted the PR application in early November.
Since I am now a dependent of a Canadian citizen, I no longer pay international fees at University. One of the mandatory conditions of being an international student is that you purchase the UHIP health insurance plan. I'm no longer an international student but, as I understand it, I am not eligible for OHIP until I have AIP.

I'm due to pay for another year of UHIP in September and I'm trying to gauge whether there is a chance I will have received AIP before then.

Hey Nick, I talked to UHIP office at UofT before, having the same question. And they told me that I need a physical OHIP card to get rid of the UHIP $624 per year. At least you figured out domestic dependent tuition fee to save the biggest amount.

I would have given them a call.It seems a bit long.It usually doesn’t take longer than a month to get your landing interview after you got your DM.A lots of people had issues with not received their landing letter and skipping their appointments.So just give them a call and ask what’s going on.
