Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Hello all, new here as well. September 2017 applicant.Was only recently aware of ECAS a month ago. Medical passed end of April, and background check in progress.

A few weeks ago, sponsor's side ECAS was showing Sponsor Application Status - In Process. However, when I checked a few days ago, it changed to Sponsor Application Status - Application Received. Does anyone know what that means?

My own status is In Process.

I am a December 2017 applicant and I received my medical request and fingerprint request a few days ago May 28. Very happy that my case progressing!

Does anyone know what to do if you can't take your medical within 30 days because of the wait time at the doctors office?
Also, I am not sure if any of the other panel physicians have a shorter wait time, as I want to go to the clinic closest to me. Is it mandatory to go to a different one further away if the wait time is shorter (and does not exceed the 30 days)?

Don't know when panel physician submitted and passed medical.
DM: May 29
DM approval letter received: June 1

Im July 24, cant wait, checking ecas like crazy. what province are you? I know my application is sended to Vancuver, but im in ontario. Im waiting for GSMC notes to have more updated informations.

I’m just waiting for an interview date, but in the letter I got, it says “a decision will be made at the time of tge interview.”

What does this mean? Not approved yet? Relationship interview?!

We went to our landing interview on Friday morning. There was about 5-6 other families there and waiting. I was surprised a lot of people did not have their receipt for their proof of payment (PR fee). They either had to call in or to pay using their phones. Anyways, we waited for 2 families to do that before it was our turn. Literally, took 5 minutes. He taped my spouse's photos to the PR form, had him initial the two questions (about criminal activity, deportation, etc, from Canada) and if he had any dependents. Of course it was "no" for both. Then he gave us our COPR and we were done. It feels so good to not have this stress anymore, I am hoping those who applied Feb-May will be able to experience this relief really soon!! Good luck to everyone! Thank you to everyone who has given me advice, even if not directly, thank you for sharing your situations and timelines, they gave us that little bit more information to feel decent with our application to be able to move forward with each step. Thank you!

Good morning - happy to finally be able to share progress!

We ordered our GMCS notes May 1, received May 30. According to our notes our application had been forwarded to the Vancouver office for processing. Friday received a call from the person reviewing my husband's application - he wanted to know the last time my husband was in the US and why we didn't apply for the OWP. He then said you'll get an email later today (AIP received an hour later!) and we won't hear from them again until a landing interview is scheduled (in Saskatoon, SK). (July applicant). Friday my ECAS changed to show sponsorship approved and I also received an email saying as much.

So doesn't sound like ordering the notes had any influence though?, as lots of June/July apps have been posting here the past couple of weeks with similar updates. We are August so hoping by early July to see simular news!
