Another person on fb group from July 27th got landing interview in Calgary! June and July you guys are almost done,fingers crossed for all of you to receive news until the end of may!

Hello guys, I sent our application package at May 14th, Canada Post said that was delivered at May 17th. 2018

I just have one question: My application is inland, I am with a visitor visa in Canada and on my visa record says that I have to leave canada by June 16th. Can I wait my sponsorship application while is being processed in Canada or do I need to apply for a extension? I applied for OWP with my sponsorship package as well.

Yes, you need to apply for an extension to secure your status, should your application is returned for any reason. If you resubmit After your validity to stay expires on June 16th, without restoration, that means you will have to wait for almost 9-11 months for your AIP, before you can have your OWP approved.

When was your medical done?

Was accepted and passed February ( student permit ) then re requested March 15 and passed April 7th
They re requested all pcc/ schedule a March 15th as well
Called cic beginning of May and security part of background check is done just waiting for criminal to finish .

I've done it on March 26th, passed on April 18th. My Ecas changed to "In Process" 2 weeks ago. But that's it, no eligibility started yet.

The reason for stay and extension is to wait inland to complete the requirement for your ongoing inland spousal sponsorship application.
Which was submitted at ... date.

How long : 12 months probably.

Application received: June 20, 2017
AOR, PCC and Schedule A request: July 18, 2017
PCC and Schedule A sent: July 21, 2017
Medical request: March 19, 2018
Medical was done: March 21, 2018
ECAS update (In process on both sides): May 15, 2018
CIC account update (Eligibilty review stared): May 18, 2018
Landing interview email received: May 18, 2018
Landing is scheduled on May 31, 2018
ECAS DM on both side: May 19, 2018
AIP received: May 19, 2018
CIC account still shows that background check and eligibility review are in process.
