Inland application. Spousal. Here on work permit and temp resident. Request for police clearance 10 weeks ago. Submitted 8 weeks ago. No word since. Original application for inland pr submitted August 2017. What's next?

1. Log into your account 2. Check status and messages of your PR application 3. Scroll down and press the blue button that says " View your submitted application"

You will be able to upload your documents there.

Hey everyone!

Wondering if any folks can help or had a similar experience:

I submitted my PR application back in March last year and shows "application received" on March 14th 2017. Did my medical a few months ago and it passed fine.

Timeline on the online tool says 12 months for whole process but it's been like 11 months and 2 weeks for me with nothing from them except "received" and "medical passed" on my profile.

I have a trip booked to Italy end of March - anyone who submitted around March 2017 been approved yet? And anyone on here ever had problems getting back into the country on a spousal sponsored open work permit linked to PR application when returning from vacation with the spousal sponsor?? I'll be travelling with my spouse for 2 weeks and getting a little panicked!!! These guys really leave it to the last minute on the year mark

They've requested my IMM5476, i provided that but they havent requested anything which is very annoying because its been 3 weeks. I want to submit my Schedule A and Police report

They will let you know when they start processing your background check after that you wait for a medical request. After you submit your medical papers it will be a last step - getting your AIP (from what I've seen on this forum they often skip Sponsor Approval) and wait for your interview date.

This is the longest part of the process. You will hear from IRCC 2-3 more times.

Oh so you didnt get a request letter from IRCC asking for police check and schedule A, did you? If not then you can't/it's not recommended to send it on your own. In that case wait for a request letter. I think if you send it just because you feel like it, it might create a mess in your application.

So I sent my application on November got my acknowledgment letter on jan 26th then on feb 2nd - police certificate and schedule A, my husband already did his medical through immigration so what would be the next step since they won’t be needing his medical

Yikes! i made a mistake then. I replaced the original IMM5476 with a Schedule then uploaded another IMM5476. I hope this doesnt slow my application.

So have any June applicants got the med request yet (last I read here was late May getting requests in November). We are August and I was hoping/expecting the med request around end of Feb/March but seems they are completely on hold if they haven't even started on June yet.
