Passports to CPC Ottawa- Nov 2017

For whatever reason, the process has slowed down considerably. Maybe the number of passports submitted to Ottawa are high in November.
Looking at the various posts,we can presume that, the processing / printing is starting , 2 weeks after delivery.
And from then on it is taking another 2 weeks for the return tracker to be activated.

In Oct, it took 3 weeks for the entire process.

In April, the entire process used to take 3-4 days!

They did not respond, they just updated my profile. I've sent the e-mail the day before the update. It has happened before from NA1 to NA2, so I believe it wasn't a coincidence.

CIC approved several applications today with Passport delivery dates between 31st Oct and 7th Nov.

Same tracker shows multiple approvals with passport delivery dates of 3rd Nov and 6th Nov. In short, your approval status was not due to your email.

This means that your return tracker will get activated in next 7-8 days.

i dont have access to mycic account. id there anyother way to know about passport approval?

My passport arrived there Nov 6th and no updates so far. I think there's a high demand at CPC-Ottawa these days.

Just looking at October's thread, most people who received approval had there documents mailed out 2-3 days later - *fingers crossed*

Most Oct people had return tracker activated in 21 days but for Nov people its around 28 days.
