I'd wager that your CSIS check is still running/pending. This process certainly teaches us patience, doesn't it?

My Background and Security have passed. Just waiting for LPP. I’ve seen some folks get an oath invite who applied in November so idk.

i'm getting to 1.5 months soon and LPP isnt started, but it seems things are moving slowly maybe it might be 2 months for LPP

Do you know your office? I got a test invite from SCR but one of the IRCC agents told me my case has been transferred to Vancouver and idk why and I’m assuming it’s gonna take longer for my file. It’s a simple application so idk why it’s taking so long.

I just spoke with IRCC. They said my primary office is Vancouver. Secondary is CPC Sydney. Event office is Calgary (for oath/test). I applied out of Calgary.

We also checked my wife's separate application, and hers is the same. It's just odd that her background is complete and mine is not. I received the test invite and she has not. Her AOR is a bit behind mine, but I would have expected a pre-test GU by now.

Also, they told me my security is done, but criminality is in progress. She agreed I may get a FPR, but since my wife's is complete, she will not.

All in all, I don't know much more than I already knew, but it's very interesting that my application is apparently being processed in Vancouver, not Calgary, so I'm grouped with a lot of other people, I presume.

Yeah, Canada Post strike resulted in delaying my application, otherwise I’d have been 2.5 months in by now.

I live in Toronto as well. Test email was from SCR office, but fingerprints email was from Vancouver. My hypothesis is we all get transferred to Vancouver once fingerprints are requested, then local office resumes processing of the application. But that's just my hypothesis.

That's what I thought at first, but @greenelle wasn't asked for fingerprints and their application was also transferred. Someone else's file was also transferred to Vancouver without asking for fingerprints so idk.
