I can’t avoid it and I’m not worried about the contents or result. I’m just worried my application is stuck somewhere since my wife’s application passed background and her AOR is November.
If you applied separately, you probably have different officers. So the workload may be different. Don't stress about it. You'll be fine.

October 25 - AOR. Test and BG completed. BG got completed at the same time when I received my test invite. Test invite letter came from the Montreal office considering I live in Montreal.

I was able to talk to an Ircc agent on a call this morning. My processing office is now Vancouver and Sydney.

The agent told me my security is completed but Language and Physical presence hasn't started yet. Portal shows LPP in progress. Last update was on January 9th for test completed. I wonder why it is taking so long to complete the language and physical presence considering that Security is passed. Agent also said no additional information or request is needed on my end.

I hope they complete it soon.
My AOR 28 Oct. Exact same timeline like you other than AOR. I live in Montreal too. I called today to IRCC as well and the agent said the same thing. secondary visa office Vancouver and LPP in progress. Let me know if you receive any update regarding oath ceremony.

I’m glad I’m not the only one whose application has been transferred to the Vancouver office. I’m guessing it’s a normal procedure then.

The Vancouver office seems to be the slowest right now. It took them more than three weeks to update my test results.

I am also from Calgary, I was in the same situation as yourself. Let me provide you my timeline to help you a bit -

AOR : Oct 28 2024
Tracker setup : Nov 01 2024
GU 1st : Dec 19 2024
GU 2nd : Dec 28 2024
Test Invite : Jan 02 2025 from Calgary office
Test Completed : Jan 06 2025
Test marked completed on tracker : Jan 10 2025

Everything else in progress.
So these GU does mean something is coming your way. I did some search on Calgary office and they have different sequence and timelines when compared with other offices. So it’s almost like more than 2 months after AOR for test invite and background sometimes seems to be after the test related updates (unless they require fingerprint or application is in enhanced security screening).

Hope this helps! Good luck. This week or next week you should expect some updates if you are also assigned to Calgary office.

Hey guys, how early do you call IRCC to get someone to answer the phone? I tried at 9 am EST and was told the line is too busy and they cut me off.

Just depends on the date and time. I've had success at 9:30 AM EST, so I'd just try back a few times. Earliest in the morning is best, but I'm not in EST.

8am EST, 12, 2-3 EST are usually best for me. I usually manage to speak to someone 95% of the time.

Just had a call with IRCC. She said all looks good. Security is done, Fingerprints not received yet ( I submitted them on the 16th Jan, RCMP sent them on the 21st Jan).

She said to wait another 2 weeks and if it's not updated on the tracker, call them or send them the receipt that I submitted my Fingerprints.

Experts on this group, what's your thoughts?

Office: Scarborough
AOR: 24th October 2024;
Test completed: 24th December;
FP request: 15th Jan; submitted on 16th Jan

Processing office: Vancouver (IRCC [by phone] said it was moved from Calgary to Vancouver primary / Sydney secondary for processing)
Test Taken: January 20, 2025
Test Marked Complete: January 30, 2025
I just noticed the tracker says January 28, 2025, but it didn't update until today (January 30). How are you all considering the date in the spreadsheet and here for your timeline. Would you put the 28th, even if they don't mark it complete on the tracker until the 30th?

I would go with the 28th because that's when they actually did it....and it takes about 2 days to trickle down to the tracker.

I edited and changed the spreadsheet to 28th.
