Hi! Just a question, did it get emailed to the sponsor or the applicant? Were you able to link your account before you got AOR? I am really hoping mine comes too! Sent it in the same day as you! Congrats!!
If I send in end of October and the courier receives end of october will that make me an october applicant or is it when you get some sort of notification from CIC?

I read on one of the other threads that it can take anywhere from 10 to 20 days before you receive an AOR1. I would recommend patience until the 20 days passes before worrying
I'm a September applicant, I suggest you take a look at our Spreadsheet to give you an idea of what time times are (click on my signature!). Right now, our average for AOR1 is 26 days after the application was received by CIC. I got mine in 24 days. Our AOR was actually sent to my husband (applicant), but addressed to me (sponsor). This has happened for a few people in our thread, which is unusual but not unheard of. So definitely check ALL emails you provided to CIC for your AOR, no telling who will receive it.
Don't bother trying to link with ECAS right now, I suggest waiting until at least after SA. I have not been able to link on ECAS yet.
I was able to link on MyCIC about a week before AOR. Try multiple different combinations of data, it can be tricky. Once you are successful with linking in MyCIC, you will probably see your application number looking like this XF000, the X means it's a temporary number. Once it changes to F000, that is your permanent application number. Actually, I saw the change on mine before I even got the AOR email (one day before).
Hello guys! I'm new here and I'm happy I found this topic I sent my application on 03/10 and it was received on 05/10, haven't heard anything from CIC yet. Good luck to all of us!
