I hope we get to send our application this month. Everything is all done. We're just waiting for the FBI clearance from the third party channeller and we have a little more organizing to do for the package. Fingers crossed we get to file it this month!
We're sending ours without the FBI clearance since the waiting time is so long with a note stating that we have applied and will send as soon as we get it. Others have also successfully done this if you're interested in considering it
I believe it takes approximately a month to hear back but I don't have personal experience. Try checking out the September thread and looking at the details under posters' names! Some have added when they sent and when they heard back

I also sent mine without the FBI certificate, though I did include a copy of what I submitted to the FBI and proof that I'd mailed it. Seems to have worked OK so far!

That's what we were planning on doing but I didn't want to risk having our application processing get delayed. We're using a third party channeller so we should have our clearance back in a week or two. That gives me time to keep working on the application and make sure I'm not forgetting anything.
Hi guys can i hd submited my application (paper based) swop and study permit on 4th of oct 2016
We received an email stating study permit has been apprvd.. howevr we havnt got any email or msg
For open work permit, and also have i have not travelled prvsly...are der any chances of rejection swop
I used Family Name, Given Name, DOB, City and Country of Birth and then the intended destination info with 2 as the number of applicants (Left Passport Info Blank). I have seen a lot of people say they just put a space as the city of birth but that didnt work for me so i put the actual town name and it did.
My application was received on the 11th of October and I was able to link to MyCiC on the 19th.
A spreadsheet would be great but i have no idea how to do it!
I Used Name, DOB, a space put in city of birth, left the passport info blank, and filled in intended place to live with 1 under # of family members. I had to try a few times, it finally worked when I made sure to put my wife's first and middle name down instead of just her first name (exactly as it was written).
I could make the spreadsheet by copying the old ones to a new google drive document, but I haven't posted enough to put the link in my signature for everyone to click on! So we need someone with a less newbie account...
