Today I called customer care on 1 888 242 2100 exactly at 7am (EST) as the time in Nova Scotia was 8 am. Within 3 minutes call was matured and as usual representative told me that your case will be finalised within 12 months from the date of receipt of my application and one year of my application completes on 8th FEB 2020. I am from Brampton and as per rep my CPC is Scarborough. I have to keep patience.

You only receive email no mail. Its just the way they worded Ecas status sounds loke there will be mail as well but it is not

surprising you got it by regular mail. most posts here mention email invite. As far as I remember , the IRCC website says they will use regular
mail only if you don't have an email on file.
What is your filing location if I may?

Sometimes if u r scheduled for a special oath ceremony held at some place other than IrCC office u get invite by mail. In rare cases yes some applicants do get invites by mail even if they have email address on file for some unknown reasons.

Does anyone knows, how long it will be The waiting time if we reschedule oath.
I am invited for Jan 17 2020 but I send them email and web form to reschedule as I have destiny wedding on same day that cannot be postponed or canceled. I will be back in Canada on 20th anyways.

How much of a wait from citizenship test for status to change / oath invite. Had our test on December 10 and waiting fingers crossed.

I think it really depends on your local office and how long it takes to verify any travel/etc that couldn’t be done at the interview. I passed my test Aug. 29, had decision made status the 2nd week of September & am still waiting for ceremony invitation. Good luck with your application!!

Had Oath today in the Chinese Cultural Center in Scarborough. Went smoothly. They just looked at the PR card. We were ~300 and there was a previous ceremony in the same day of another 300.

Judge adviced everyone wait till Tuesday to apply for passport.

What all questions does the CPC ask before giving the information ? Case number or UCI number ?

They ask for your UCI number, full name, birthday, birth country, address & will verify your email & phone number.
