I received my DM on October 1st. But havent received my landing interview yet. "Refugees and Citizenship Canada office in Vancouver Immigration will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application" The vancouver office might be busy. Has anyone faced this issue as well? How long does it usually take to get your landing interview?
Seeing above that it may take some time for an interview (at least from vancouver office)... anyone waiting for etobicoke?
We only got the decision made letter on friday, so I am guessing it may take some time to get the interview letter...
sorry for the repetition... as I am sure this has already been answered! Is the PA allowed to travel after the interview (receives COPR) but before receiving the PR card?
Thanks in advance!!
Guys, they want my police certificate from back home we did the relationship interview 2 month ago at cic etobicoke, this application already took 3 years, my question:
Can we drop off a copy of the police record directly at the etobicoke office?
Or can we use web form to send em a scaan copy?
The request letter came directly from the etobicoke office.
Please advice

It took us exactly 2 weeks from DM letter to get the landing invitation from Etobicoke. From what I've seen around the forum 2-3 is the norm. Good luck!

Thank you so much!! That is helpful to know
did you have a good experience at the etobicoke office? I understand you just need to bring passport, and the confirmation of payment of fees? Anything else?

Did they not put an instruction on how to send it? I would suggest uploading and sending it via webform and if you have the email of Etobicoke IRCC, send the copy there, too. Just make sure you add your details (UCI, Application no.) in the email.

Oh, I have no idea! Our interview is on November 1. Our letter said to also bring 2 photos for the PA, and the sponsor needs an ID too. Again, from what I've read here, it's a fairly standard process, but that doesn't stop me from being nervous!
Call the call centre everyday until you get to talk to an agent and they do something about it, like a follow up email to the local IRCC. That's ridiculous you have DM for 2 months now and haven't landed.
EDIT: Did you get a DM letter telling you which local office would contact you? I would think it's Edmonton because Lloydminster is still in Alberta. Please do phone the call centre and ask. If it's Edmonton, I can give you their email address.
No I didn't get a DM letter. It only says decision made on ECAS on both sides since august.
Lloydminster is both in Alberta and Saskatchewan and one day on the phone an agent told me my file should be sent to saskatoon as I am living on the saskatchewan side. I thought it would be Edmonton too but who knows, they won't tell me anything and I know they're not doing anything more on my application as they told my MP everything was done and looking good for me and that my file was just waiting to be transferred to my local office but if I don't have anything by December to call them
