@sylvain1 Just curious to know more from you as you made me excited after reading your answer. So the fairness letter usually come to those before DM's on both sides if they wish to reject or it can come after DM's too? I am from Toronto so i guess it will be Etobicoke office. For AIP and SA letter i have not received anything as of yet, So can it take longer than 1-2 days to receive e-mail after change in ECAS ?
Yes that would come before decision made. Typically SA and AIP comes the same day or the next one, but some have reported longer delay. It's rather rare for those letters, but it happens. SA and AIP are letter stating the the sponsor has been determined eligible to sponsor and that the principal applicant has been determined to be eligible to apply in the family class. Some cases, again rather rare, but some never got these letters. Anyways, I wouldn't worry about that. You may try calling IRCC on Monday saying you see decision made but you didn't receive any letters; if you get a nice agent, he might confirm the decision.
Etobicoke has always been one of the slowest (busiest) offices with Montreal and Vancouver. Montreal goes faster nowadays with the pilot project that invites the person to come within office hours whenever they want instead of a specific date and time. From what I've read here, it seems to take about 3-4 weeks for Vancouver and 4-5 for Etobicoke. Some are lucky and get it faster, but those seems typical.

So further to our application the MP's office just forwarded the letter IRCC sent to them regarding our application. It was quite informative and gave a date when each stage had been completed. It also provided links to why sometimes applications are delayed in processing, even though they endeavour to have them completed in the allotted time frame. It also interestingly enough said that they now no longer require the documents requested and all security verifications are valid.
So this is definitely what got our application to completion ( my inquiry to my MP ) but I really don't understand why they all of a sudden don't require the document they requested, other than I was correct and it was redundant information.
Anyway I wanted to post this to show that using your MP as a resource can and does help, it is definitely worth a try at the very least. Also it did take three weeks from the first time I contacted them until we got an answer and progress.
@sylvain1 I really want to make sure what DM on ECAS both sides means? Like what's the 100% answer ? Should i wait for letter to confirm or it really means i'm approved?

HI all,
question about canadian police record:
I am inland applicant, submitted app in December 2017, AOR mid-January 2018.
I got the request for medical (and passed it), but I have never received request for canadian police record (I sent one from home country and US with the application).
When in application process do they ask for canadian police record check?
