My Background check started couple months ago and still showing in process and yeah next step is AIP and SA, But how long it usually takes after they start reviewing eligibility ?

My Background check started couple months ago and still showing in process and yeah next step is AIP and SA, But how long it usually takes after they start reviewing eligibility ?

There's no set time at all, (even if websites or a government book says it)

My elegibility started in March along with Background check and nothing since then, and I am a July 2017 applicant. Some others see an eligibility letter right before the 12 month mark, others don't recieve AIP, SA and go directly to DM.

The whole process is very inconsistent.

Weeks, months! As I said, give it a couple more months and you'll probably hear something.

Not long at all. Our application was processed in Vancouver. We received DM on Sept 13 on SA side, and Sept 18 PA side, and we received the landing interview invite this afternoon. We are in Toronto, so going to the Etobicoke office.

Relationship Interview done today. Was landed right after interview.
Interviewed separately, 1 hr for applicant and 1 and half hr for sponsor.

14th Dec 2017 applicant here. My eligibility review started yesterday. Im really confused right now cos i just opened up ECAS

I usually first see my name there and next to it says 'In Process' and Today it is showing 'Decision Made' . I didnt get any update or anything yet.

My CIC account shows the same that they are reviewing eligibility and background check still in process and decision has yet to be made .

Congratulations, you're done. Your cic account won't update until you land. You will receive (if you did not get them already) SA and AIP letters (letters saying you meet the eligibility, one to the sponsor, one to the principal applicant). Those letters are usually sent the same day or the next day you see changes on ECAS. The DM letter is very unreliably sent, sometimes right away, sometimes with very long delays, sometimes not at all. But the DM letter is not what you are really waiting for now, you are waiting for the landing invitation letter. It might still take a few weeks, but you will officially become a PR soon!

On your landing invitation letter, there usually a way to contact them (email). If you cannot attend the scheduled meeting, you send an email asking for a reschedule and you explain why you need a reschedule.

Im really nervous and excited right now. I am still not sure . I just received letter from CIC about Invitation Pre-Arrival Services. What is that ?
