Our medicals were received June 20, but after hearing nothing for so long I finally applied for GCMS notes a couple of weeks ago. Today my online app status says this:
Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on September 21, 2012.
We started processing your application on August 22, 2013.
Medical results have been received.
I would like to be more optimistic about what "We started processing your application" means, but I assume they just mean, we started processing your GCMS notes app, right?
Confusing.
There are always some delays in updating ECAS. That is the reason why you may be seeing a different date on ECAS even if you received medicals in JUne. But it might be difficult to find out why is there a difference in dates.
What I did is I sent an email after a month from my medicals received date and never got a response. I waited for a week and again sent one more email to let me know the next steps after the medicals and in 2 days received PPR email. I would suggest that you try sending an email to CIC if you have not done it already.
Good suggestion, yahoo7. I see that your ppr was just a few days ago? Congratulations on this important milestone!

SubhanAllah...
Received my PPR just few mins ago.
Girls and guys...just one question. The BioData form - there is no separate attachment with the email, the table is in the body of the email text. How did you guys printed it separately?
Any suggestions highly appreciated.
Congrats! I read before that the biodata form is an HTML file and might be displayed as email text in web mail or some email client.

All the best to everyone here.
Congrats to all of those who got their PPR..
I can see only very few left from the above list..I am one of them..
Is being on EI could affect the application process..I updated CIC in July regarding my job loss...Did they open any other check on my case..
My last GCMS received on 24th Aug says...Recommended Passed..Although the last update on my case was on 18th June..Since then no action..
Requested another GCMS note..don't know what to do..wrote mail also but still waiting for the response...No RPRF and Bio Data request as well...
Don't think being on EI affects your application. You are an October applicant so still within their processing time (12 months). Don't worry.
