Hello everyone. I'm getting worried. I'm Express entry candidate and passport was requested oon June 1st. I sent it June 2 and CIC ottawa received it June 5th.
Today is July 7th and I've not heard anything back since.
Is there a number in the Ottawa office i can call to find out what's going on.
Its been over a month since they received my passport

Hello! I am in the same boat.. My status changed to approved and its been 20 days now.. Return tracker not activated

Hi.
I Finally got my passport back. Here is my timeline to encourage someone
Jan 23th 2017 - ITA
Feb 24th 2017 - Application submitted
June 1st 2017 - PPR
June 2nd 2017 -passport sent
June 5th 2017 - passport delivered to Ottawa
July 7th 2017 - case approved
July 7th 2017 - tracker activated (FedEx)
July 10th 2017- i received my passport.

It was over a month before my status changed to approved. I didn't even have any number to call, i almost lost my mind. Trust me, the waiting period can be nerve wrecking. But hold on still yours will through.

She said cic received your passport and two weeks processing .

Waiting and tracker did not activate yet .

How do you come to know your passport has been received by CIC..?

Hi All.. Im an Indian Citizen working at Saudi Arabia. Recently I had received Passport request from Abu Dhabi Embassy. My passport was delivered on September 27. I'm still waiting for an update. There are no updates against my Express entry Application. I had sent an email requesting for confirmation fpr receiving passport and for checking processing time. So far I have not received any communication.

What is the average processing time at Abu Dhabi embassy? Can I assume confirmation on visa If we receive passport request?

Please advise.

Usually 2-3 weeks to get back your passport in Canada.

My flight is this Tuesday October 31st. Should I rebook my flight? or can I get a travel document from my embassy and use that as to travel back to my home country? and just wait there for my passport? Thank you so much!

Avg time right now it is taking 2-3 weeks. You can contact customer service and explain your situation. I would suggest to modify your travel plans unfortunately.

Do you know the number of the costumer service? I sent them an email yesterday. I attached my mother's medical certificate and my plane ticket to prove that it is urgent by still no response.

Can I leave Canada and just wait for my passport in my home country? I am thinking of using a travel document. I can apply for that and It can be issued the same day from my country's consulate.

if you can travel without passport. I know if you have PR and you dont have PR card you can apply from home country. I would suggest call customer service they are open 8am-4 pm EST.
