Thanks. Not in Canada, so I have requested for visa stamping @ local CIC office. Now another wait for their reply. Goodluck to you as well, hope you get PPR soon.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 14, 2013.
We started processing your application on February 21, 2014.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
I keep on worrying and reading about different cases on Google. Basically, what I understand is if they post DM after the Medicals, the application is approved.
So, my husband is from the States (visa exempt country, right?) so his CoPR should be on its way? He lives with me on a visitor visa since January 7th, 2013 (we applied for an extension and we got approved).
Now, my question is... will he get an e-mail or regular mail? When would that happen? A few days, weeks, or months? I am so nervous right now, so please... help if you had a similar situation.
I thought the security check was in the beginning? I mean why would they have asked for police certificates, and RCMP fingerprints, and then later there is a security check, doesn't make sense to me.
