Hello Friends
Starting a new thread for those who were reviewed for second time and received medicals, however waiting for PPR; should join here. As our case is different than our fellow applicants. Please share your second review details as well, which you think may help other friends still waiting to hear on second review
Do you think the waiting time for us would be a little shorter for the PPR because the Background check was already going on when our file was held for the 2nd review? Or does the background check only kicks off when we are done submitting the medical exam?

Yes Waqas you are absolutely right. There many fellow colleagues from Feb who did medicals and still waiting for ppr. I think the following could be reason
1. There security taking lots of time as they lived in many places or places where getting security details is tough
2. Some concern in their medicals
3. Some incomplete information on file
So for sure we are different as our eligibility was in progress. I can see our PPR coming within a month.
I think this is the we should order another GCMS after CIC updates our medical.
My online status has been "ME results received" since early Jan 2015. I am not in Canada now so I have not applied for GCMS recently.
I once received a reply from CIC about my status last month. It says they are waiting for the results of my security checking. But an August 2013 applicant in this forum told me the background checking might cost 8-12 months. Thus, I am very nervous now.

I think 1 month. The difference between we two is that you are more realistic and I am trying to be optimistic. The reason old applications are being delayed because there was almost no movement from CIC during Oct to Dec due to various reasons. Holidays and EE being one of them
