Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

My mom did medical exam in May 2018 and then sponsorship was again reviewed and approved in July. They do not have medical results on her file and i emailed them requesting them to check medical exam and update and they replied saying they do not see any medical results received (what the hell). So i again sent inquiry with E - medical exam copy received from physician when we did medical and expecting they update that but to my surprise today again i got an email from ircc requesting for medical for my mom. What should i do now? wait until i get their response on my inquiry or i have to do medical if they asked again. It's just 3 months my mom did medical so it is for sure not expired.

Did you contact your Panel Physician and inquired why your mom's medical results are not uploaded?

Did anyone have to resubmit the schedule A for your parents? Singapore office just request an updated schedule A of both my parents. Do you know when PPR would be after this resubmission? My parents just re-did their 2nd medical exam in July and passed.

So i called the doctor and they advised me that they have already sent the results to IRCC the following week after we completed medical exam. She also advised that sometimes IRCC (which i think always) does not go into deep and research and they might not have checked properly. I have sent IRCC the results last week and now i have new request, so will wait 1 or 2 weeks to see what they reply otherwise will do again medical exam as i have 30 days to complete and do not want to go into more complications after all these years of struggle.

Similar thing happened to my Dad's file. I submitted PCC, RCMP clearance, Medical etc in May end. We got their email last week saying "Final Notice". It mentioned all these documents and said none of them were received. We sent all of them again. Hoping they got it this time.

I opened ATIP yesterday to see where the file is. Not sure what is delaying it so much.

What status is your file in?

I was reading the forum for 2017 applicants and I see a lot of them landed already. Not sure how does this work. They started processing & completing 2017 when 2016 files are still pending and not sure where are they sitting.

redo medical now, first is expired in July 2018.
I tell you more, some 2018 already got PPR

Hi everyone,

Have you noticed that the processing time info on CIC has now changed? seems like most of 2015 applicants should have received a status update, and the processing time on average for 2016 shows as 26 months.
Let's hope those of us still having open cases are closed down soon...

Hello Everyone,
I have applied for my mom in 2016
applied - Jan 2016
acceptance - Feb 2016
Mom came to Canada on super visa - Jan 2017
Address changed - Jan 2017
STILL file transferred to Delhi - April 2017
PCC, PR fee, travel form request - Dec 2017
Both PCC (Canada and India), PR fee, travel form submitted - Feb 2018

After this no response, no update on application tracking tool.

Email sent for inquiry to Delhi in May-2018 after 3 months of document submission, STILL NO RESPONSE

Can anyone suggest what are my option and what should I do to inquire??
FRUSTRATED WITH THIS SYSTEM...

I thought that is normally the max time it will take. But, ours is already more than 26 months.

I was actually talking to someone yesterday about their parents file. They particularly mentioned that Delhi Processing office is worst and delays the file way too much. Someone working there told them that sometimes the files are sitting for months just to be mailed, after processing.

yes, told me that finish it, took 1 year!!!
