Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
QUESTION PLEASE
on my interview letter it gives me a list of stuff to bring.
now first it says evidence of all communication of PA and spouse since october 2013, which we got
and then at the end it says, proof and evidence of ongoing relationship with spouse. is that since the beginning??? i already sent soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much proof to them with my application since 2008. are they asking for this stuff again?? so frustrating. i had to pay $200 for extra phone bills last time. i better not have to pay again or i will be a very angry person! what do they mean by ongoing communication? They didnt give me a timeline.
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Basically they want the most current information of your communication (skype, emails, phone calls, etc) to prove continuity and there should not be gaps since you last sent them correspondence.

And what about the members who's files are in Islamabad ,,not shifted to London ,,waiting and waiting .. and the time was 33 months ,,now increased to 36 months... I have spent 21 months of spouse assessment time..
Dear Dr.Dua, I think all of us are frustrated by these inhumane cruel waiting times.
This is a sample email of course which you could customize to your own case.
I would be interested to know your timeline.
This petition doesn't apply to London Visa office only but other Visa offices that need attention to these ridiculous processing times.

Yes, anything you have sent, you don't need to send again.
Kindly note that you have already sent the nikah photos and that your are attaching the photos from rukhsati and valeema.
Good luck.

Pakistanis number in Canada is too small.Chinese followed by Philippinos and then indians are in majority. Little chance for pakistani MLAs. However your own MLA is always helpful.

Hope everyone is doing great!
My wife got the follwing email from London Office today. She was over 16 years when we got married in Jan 2014.
Should we also send some additional documents in addition to the info requested below (She is doing ACCA now; might be a letter from college and ACCA)
Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks
Dear Applicant,
I am about to complete the assessment of your application for permanent residence in Canada and I am unable to determine that you meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).
Subsection 16(1) of the IRPA states that a person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.
Additional documentation in support of your age and identity is required in order for us to complete the assessment of your eligibility and admissibility for this application. Please submit the birth certificate issued by the hospital at the time of your birth as well as you recent school transcripts. I have some concerns regarding your age at time of marriage. Please submit these documents within the requested time frame. Failure to do so will result in a decision being made based on the information already on file.
You are being granted a final 30 days from the date of this correspondence to comply with our request. Should you fail to present the documentation within the next 30 days as requested, your application will be assessed based on the evidence currently available on file and this may result in the refusal of your application
Based on the advice from members, we are putting together the following:
Birth Certificate (With the aplication we only sent in the birth certificate issued by local council)
NADRA Birth Certificate/Child Registration Certificate
NADRA Family database certificate
Affidavit by parents confirming the birth
Cover letter explaining; they don't have anything
Letter from Hospital – trying to see if Lady Doctor is still alive and hospital still exists
Educational
Matric result sheet issued by Board; if possible to get from Karachi Board
Admit card with DOB
Result – Grade 10 Mark sheet
College letter
School Provincial certificate
ACCA Letter
ACCA Result details
I assume, our reply to London office will be by email.
Hope everyone is doing well! Need guidance on following 2 points:
1) I think getting GCMS notes will help but it takes approx. 1 month to arrive. I heard MP office can help check the status and up to date notes. Is there any way to obtain what was officer thought process to issue that letter.
2) Other issue is that my mother in law spelling/ name was wrong in the Birth Certificate issued by Government of Punjab back in 2010. They rectified it in 2012. When we applied for sponsorship, we used birth certificate issued in 2010. We are planning to inform in the cover letter that it was mistake and it was overlooked on our part as we did not send the 2012 birth certificate which is right one. We will send both the certificates now. I hope it not misrepresentation as we never altered any document, it was mistake by local pakistani government.
Not sure if 2010 birth certificate triggered the email.
Thanks to everyone for their time and help.
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
ATTENTION PLEASE:
There is a spreadsheet for timelines of spouse sponsorship cases for London Visa Office.
The problem is there very few Pakistanis that have provided their timeline details and also certain years where nationality of PA not identified.
I would like to compile timelines specifically for Pakistan applicants.
If you are sponsoring a spouse that is a Pakistan applicant, please PM me your timeline details.
-Date application received in Mississauga:
-Date of first AOR:
-Date of sponsor approval:
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email):
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had:
-Re-Med request:
-Interview:
-Citizenship of principal applicant:
-Sponsor is PR or Canadian Citizen:
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!:
Thanks kindly.
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
There's a lot of misinformation here regarding the change in wait times. Since 2014 was the first year that London processed Pakistani files, all that the 29 months indicates is the total average months that the cases processed in London took to be reviewed. Many of those cases were those that were pending for 24 odd months hence it has added to the total average.
The current times will still be was is Londons usual which seems like 10-13 months. So everyone relax, pray and enjoy iA!
