Guys, cic in interview letter gave us link to old forms. Is it because we belong to old kit or should we go with the updated versions? I followed what was linked in interview letter. I see imsid filled out the updated versions, why is that so? *confused*

Thats right. I called my MP Office too. actually MP never talk to us directly but their staff or a Rep. I was told the same thing.
"LVO reviewing the eligibility of your wife case and i will follow up again with LVO in Feb 2018." But he added there might be a chance of your wife's interview. so do you think he is reading the notes of my wife's file rather calling LVO and talking to visa officer if MPs' or their staff has access to our files / notes? and at this time a Visa officer already scheduling my wife for an interview? and that's where MP rep find the information from notes?

The best way to find out is to order GCMS notes, involving the MP office doesnt help a bit imo.

If i dont hear anything about my wifes application in the next couple of months im going to order GCMS notes rather than bugging my MP.

I explained my situation in detail. I was facing alot of problems regarding my job. My jobs didn't last for a long period of time. This is the reason I mentioned that I couldn't save enough money to sponsor my spouse. This is the same reason I couldn't visit my spouse. Seems like they are not fully satisfied therefore An interview.

Well, my issue is the same as yours actually - I want to be with my other half asap.
Nikah only case - applied in Jan 2017
Processing started early Feb 2017
CSQ completed in April 2017

No updates since then. Our medical expired today and I requested some advice here about what to do so I did what was told - wrote a letter detailing our living situation along with Rukhsati and Walima ceremonies which were held after the app. submission.

I dont understand one thing .. when u spend all that time and money to go to Pakistan for marriage, then why nikkah only? Get everything done .. get pictures taken of each and every occasion and rituals .. why stop in btwn and apply but then get asked all these questions from the VO? Sorry dont think i am gettin mad at you but this is a general comment/question to all the couples who did nikkah only but no rukhsakti/walima/honeymoon etc ..

i had a question in regards to NIC and passport for my wife whom I am sponsoring. I have already sent the application last month and i am waiting for an AOR1. The photocopies of her NIC and passport i sent with the application were made before marriage so it includes her fathers name instead of mine as the husband. i wanted to get that changed and wanted to know 1. should I do that now? 2. should i just change to include my name on her CNIC/PP as husband and 3. she wants to change her last name to my name, should i do that now and will i need to send a webform with new photocopies and also advise them of her name change? or should i wait until shes here in Canada and then change her last name to mine?

Trust me it will be less hassle in future even here when trying to renew documents at the consulate. they will want everything under husband's name so do it in Pak now or atleast before leaving the country.

Do it now, change the record in NADRA as well as obtain new NICOP under your name.
Trust me it will be less hassle in future even here when trying to renew documents at the consulate. they will want everything under husband's name so do it in Pak now or atleast before leaving the country.

can I change my wife's last name to my name here in Canada once she landed? is it easy to do it, but then every official documents should have already released under her original name. How many documents i m going to change her last name to my name? How would i change her last name to my name from her Pakistani Passport and from Pakistani NIC?
Just to add here, its not me who wants it, but she wants to she her last name as my name

My interview is also on Dec, 7th. What is your interview time? Are you the PA or the wife is PA?
