Yes, they returned it yesterday and that's why I was confused. Maybe it is a one time payment as you suggested, anyhow, I am happy though. Similarly, I just checked myCIC now and they are requesting for medical which I have completed since last October. I called the call centre a while ago and they told me it has been received but not yet updated on my file. What should I do in this case? Should I call the call centre and tell them about the new medical update or go do a new medical examination?

Dont waste money going to do new medical, confirm with an agent first to make sure, otherwise you will be wasting your time and money!!!

We finally got our landing appointment!!

Quick question for those with landing - for confirmation of the $490 payment, did we just take the $1040 receipt with the barcode since $490 is part of it?

No there was no Salma. Just her Assistant, Adlan. He took our application number, hubby's UCI and our names, addresses, e-mails and DOB. He said they will contact IRCC and call us when they find out what is going on. He kept more interested in visiting Saint Lucia. When I told my husband that he said he would have said "With all due respect I am too concerned about what's happening with our application". If I have not heard from him next week, I will call back.

Hi guys!

Update regarding my Medical. I just got off the phone with IRCC agent. I have been told that as long as the Medical is completed within 30 day time frame provided, there`s nothing to worry about. She suggested uploading proof of accomplishing Medical Examination via IRCC web form just to show them that medical was done on time.

AOR: acknowledgment of receipt
Currently most people gets it 3-4 weeks after they sent their application. But for 2015 and 2016 applicants, it was usually 2-3 months after the application.

So we should get ours in 4weeks? As sweet submitted may 27th 2017 and it got to them on the 29th of may 2017.

Also who gets the AOR? I the applicant or my fiancé the sponsor?
