Go from receipt date. And yup medical for us was accepted about 8days before we saw DM in ECAS.

Any day now...

nice! i'm praying they request for my meds ASAP! lol.. I Know the panel physicians in etobicoke are probably busy so I may have to go to Kitch/Waterloo or Hamilton just to get it done within the same week of request.

Does it matter if your medical was upfront or not? We just did the medical and it was passed last week.

No they requested it on April 19, we didn't do them upfront.

It showed passed on April 28.

Fill out the consent form that is linked on that page (PA is section A, Sponsor Section C; sign and date), then have the sponsor submit the request as a Privacy Act request.

Privacy Act requests are for "Residents" (Temporary/Workers are residents ). ATIP is $5 for those overseas...

Oh great, so I am guessing Edmonton is giving out landing interviews 1 week from DM? Is that right?

I had a request for a new medical despite sending one in upfront. Even though the medical was expired by about a month by the time they sent the request, I was sure that they would be able to accept it. I wrote a CSE and attached the existing medical and an explanation letter. Did not get a response. CIC phone agents weren't able to offer any guidance (except for saying that nobody had read my CSE yet). The 30 day window they requested the new medical also had expired and I hadn't heard anything from CIC.

But, as it turns out, I made the right choice and they must have looked at and accepted my medical all along because they just sent me a landing letter. Landing next week. Awesome, saved a couple hundred dollars on a useless medical.
