Sorry to hear you're going to have to wait that long for landing. We're going to be landing the first weekend in March, assuming the COPR arrival follows the timelines that others have had. My lease goes until mid-June but we're tired of being apart and it's worth breaking it, and we got approved at the perfect point in the school year for my daughter to make the jump.

He actually extended his lease a couple of months so he can bring his daughter up for the summer to visit us. She is done school end of May. He was going to stay until September and spend the summer with her there but his employer just cut back everyone's wages so he changed his timeframe. I don't mind him staying there a little longer so he can spend time with her and bring her up with us in the move. May give us a bit of hassle at the border but he will have texts from his ex and she will notarized a letter stating that she is just visiting for a couple of months.
My husband received his COPR today! It actually arrived at his post office on Friday, but he had to wait until today. For reference, it took about a week for them to send the COPR after receiving the envelope in Ottawa, which is what it seems to be on average. He's moving to Canada on Sunday! I hope things continue to move along for the rest of this thread!

Heard anything yet today on your CoPR/MyCIC? You're a day ahead of me in DM/PPR email/package arrival, etc. I figure I'll start getting excited when you hear good news! LOL!!
We'd love to do the landing March 1. That's the anniversary of our first meeting, as well as anniversary of our engagement. ;D

Received PPR yesterday and are mailing out today. Annex A asks for current mailing address of the applicant - however is it OK to add mailing address of sponsor since it is in Canada?
Also - any tips on sending out passport/photo + what type of Canada Post service to purchase?

I put in my Canadian address even though my husband is still in Texas. When I go help him pack I will just take it with me. If it's for a US applicant they just want a photocopy of your passport.
The letter specifically states to use express post if mailing within Canada.
My husband landed today!!!! It's gonna be a while until it doesn't just feel like another visit though
About postage, I bought a document sized Xpresspost envelope and then a bubble envelope to put the former in, with tracking added to it. Iirc it was cheaper, but I'm not entirely sure.
