so, it means those who already applied but not received AOR they will not fall under the new rules
PER - Positive Eligibility Received (Your application received at CIO has passed the completeness check successful and your application is within the CAP and the application will be send to local visa office for processing)
AOR - Acknowledgement Of Receipt ( Issued by the local visa office once the file has been reached them for processing send from CIO canada. This stage is next after you receive PER)
NER - Negative Eligibility Received (Your application received at CIO has failed the completeness check OR your application has reached after the CAP filled . Your application will be returned to you along with the processing fees.)
Hi everyone, I'm new here.. though I've been reading this forum for quite some time now. I'm also bound for quebec. I received my QSC November last year. I wish everyone well.

Hi,
I have send my all remaining documents to my consultants office and it takes 3 to 4 working days to reach there office at Montreal.
I am requesting my consultant to lodge my application and he can further submit my remaining documents to my application as soon as he receives but I don't think he wants me to apply before 1st August and not listening as I do not qualify after 1st of August new language rules as I have B1 in French and new rules you need B2 to qualify for claiming any French language points that way I won't be able to qualify.
I recommend you all people do not hire any consultant we have education and we are professional don't give you car driving seat to anyone else just like me they are least bothered, you qualify or you don't.
I am terribly stuck in this situation loosing my Dollars Time & Patience.
Kind Regards
Yes, but you need an assistance while filing the application.
Incase, you have all the information you can file yourself else you need to pay which is fair!!!

It was 64 points without the 10 points for adaptability that you can get during the interview.

The reason I asked for AOT was to know if you are in a Priority list, with considerable french points. Anyways, my suggestion is to wait for a month and get in touch with them through phone.
Dear all
Today finally after 5 months I have received payment receipt and they have written in this receipt like that "personne a charge qualifie "
And "travailleur qualifié " I have translate this and found "dependent and main applicant both are qualified for csq.
Tell me any body what is the exact meaning of this and share if they have same experience. They have also written file no.
Thanks

No, I claimed points for French while calculating my points in the inital evaluation. I did not rely on the adaptability points which will be decided during the interview.
so knowing French gives you a bonus, 1) you can claim points for French while calculating your language skills when submitting your application 2) The interviewing officer can give you points again for adaptability for knowing French. Luckily, I did not have to utilize that option.

I see .. so you needed 57 points with your spouse, but you had 64 ( 7 points more than needed ) , right ?
i guess you have children no ? or your AOT is a priority ..
