Mine too approved on 16th, tracker not activated yet.
Looks it is taking a week to activate the tracker for VISA required, as they might be printing VISA after approve the application?
My tracker got activated this afternoon (passport delivered Oct 24, approved Nov 15). I believe it will reach Vancouver in two days.
Yes, it took a while for the tracker to get activated. I was told by agent at cic (over phone) that my passport was dispatched yesterday from cic. It’s odd that it took about 24 hours for Canada post to process the envelope.
Anyways, these are silly stuffs. Hope everyone here receives their passport soon!
Hey sorry couldn't reply earlier!! I sent passport to Ottawa not any copy. As my wife would be travelling soon, I sent an email to CIC, and they processed a bit faster.

So this is will save your time: Call that number, wait until the machine finishes saying “welcome to immigration...”, then without even listening to the options, tap 3-(pause)-2-(pause)-2-(pause)-0. If you hear “due to high volume of..” on the other side, just hang up. This whole process takes 15-20 seconds.
Repeat 7-8 times, and you should get to an agent. I call at 10am Pacific Time, had to wait 37 mins. But worth it.
It takes them a couple of days to a week or more to actually open your passport packet.
Mine was delivered on 27th October and when I emailed them they said they “received” it on 7th November...
QUOTE="MJPK, post: 6515394, member: 712833"]Hi All,
I sent my passport for visa stamping on 7th November, 2017 and the tracking number shows that the package was delivered on 8th November, 2017.
I sent an email to CPC-Ottawa to confirm the receipt of passport however i received a reply email sating that:
Good day,
Your passport has not been received at our office yet.
We thank you for your patience. In order to efficiently process requests, we will not reply to duplicate emails.
Regards,
Should i be worried? Canada post confirms that the package was delivered to the right address and on specified time. My only mistake was to not ask for recieving signature.
Hey folks how are you guys tracking ‘Passports received by the Office’ date? Is that something that can be seen from myCIC? We sent our passports to Ottawa on Nov 13 and it was delivered the next day. What is the next step or communication from CIC before status becomes approved.
