I gave my biometrics on Monday.
On GCKey, the biometric date and number were updated the same day, but the status still shows as “In Progress” on both GCKey and the IRCC PR tracker.
Is this normal?

I do have the same issue. My biometrics Date and number updated but the biometrics status still shows as "In Progress" in both GCKey and Tracker.
Have you got any update?

Did you encounter issues when giving fingerprints at Service Canada? Were the prints clearly legible?
I am asking because that is what happened when I went to do biometrics for my OWP in late December. The status of biometrics stayed "In Progress" on my profile. The employee at Service Canada had told me that my fingertips were possibly too dry. She wrote a remark for IRCC that there was no clear reason for the bad quality of my fingerprints, at the same time she informed me it was probable IRCC would want a new set of fingerprints, maybe this time the ink version taken at a police station.
However, I knew my biometrics letter for PR was going to come anytime soon, so I personally did not worry too much. I made sure to keep my hands moisturized and sure enough, I had no problems giving fingerprints again last week and passed biometrics stage for both applications on the same day.
--> I suspect that if there is an irregularity with the quality of the given biometrics, that stage does not get passed automatically but is pending review by a real human-being

Yes, my finger prints having multiple cuts and the employee at service canada told like she added a reason for those cuts in my fingerprints. I gave my biometrics on 16th Dec 2024 . She didnt mentioned like i might need to give my finger print again . Will it affect my background check?

from what i know, it’s normal for inland application

Hi, I have a question regarding medical examination. did you provide new medical exam result or provided previous one, if you have already done the medical? As per the website"If you completed an IME within 5 years of submitting your new application, include the IME number (or the unique medical identifier number) from your previous IME in your current application."

In my application, I left if blank. what should I do? should I wait for medical request or submit a webform and provide previously done medical information? Please guide. Thank you,

In my case, I submitted a webform with IME# and letter of explanation. Then only 1 day after, the medical was updated as "completed" but I don't know if it was a coincidence.

Is not the web form, including IME and explaination enough? Do we still need to submit explaination letter and medical examination document? if yes, how can we submit it? your guidence would be appreciated. Thank you.

I only submitted IME#, explanation letter (I think it is optional) and the scanned copy of the front page of the IME (with my photo)

first page that was given by the medical lab and it is not a report, it just gives the your information and medical exam type right?

The page with your information and the photo, not the whole health report (I never got that whole health result/report because the Panel Physician that I went mentioned they would send directly to IRCC)
