Its been 4 months since i applied. Got 2 AOR (1st in September 2d in December) , no updates since then no BIL or nothing. Im in the same boat. 4 months is such a long time for not having no updates.
There is no any fix order timeline, there are some people who are not receiving AOR as the first step, some people just getting their BIL or medical as first step. Ircc recently changed the processing time for family sponsorship application from 12 months to 24 months. Not sure if that is something affecting our files as well.

Also, 99% applicants of October 2024 (inland) haven't received BIL yet. Most of them are still expecting their AOR. So i guess this timeline should be normal.

Quick question for others - Principal Applicant has to travel out of Canada to India for a family ceremony for 4 weeks. PA's SOWP was approved today and has TRV until Dec 2025.
Would it affect their entry back into Canada if they travelled for 4 weeks while inland PR is being processed?

Iam currently open PGWP, expiring in April 2025. I applied for inland spousal PR and got AOR email. Now I am planing to apply for SOWP. So for the first question in the application form, I AM APPLYING FOR ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING.
1) Apply for work permit with the same employer
2) Apply for work permit for the first time or new employer
3) Get a new temporary resident permit
4) Restore my status us a worker
which one should I select as it not my first time applying for work permit and also Iam on open work permit at the time,so not sure whether to select apply for work permit with same employer.
anyone knows this or been through the same situation?
Hi i just wanted to know
After submitting SOWP application, did you receive any next action step to do ? Or directly received the approval?
cz i have heard in case of SOWP, after submitting the application you directly get the approval/ rejection?

I attended my biometric appointment today, but due to a skin condition or possibly genetic factors, my fingerprints are not as prominent as others. As a result, the prints did not appear clearly. The biometric officer noted that it was impossible to capture clear fingerprints.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? If so, what was the outcome?
