IRCC Mississauga hibernating, outland October applicants are getting P1s already.

Oh wow. This is insane. This was the other way around when we applied. I waited few months to do inland as inlands were supposed to be faster.
excatly. I must have done outland, but it is what it is!! We just wait and hope these guys get going on the application. I fail to understand what is different in process for outland and inland with so much varying timelines.

Wow!! That is actually some fast processing for outland people!! And yeah hopefully we get it soon. I was looking at June 2024 Inland and applicants who have applied after 20th ish June have not received P1 yet!!

29 months this very frustrating, hopefully we receive p1 soon .what at all are they checking??
The only reason i can think for them to increase the inland processing time is - they want to discourage temp resident visas, and have people apply outland.

It should be the opposite one would think. June is still processing i feel like july will start middle of may .

I thing you are right. IRCC will sabotage all the inland application and discourage everyone applying inland. People who apply, when the processing time was showing 12 months will pay the prices, because knowing the inland process will take 29 months eveyonr will apply outland and now you can't even switched to outland. Even SOWP is taking over 7 months now.
Its hard to believe processing time overnight went from 11 to 24 and 29 months. Many countries process residency aplication within 6 months.
