Yes, in our case, it is 9 working days between email receipt and oath date... Email received 29th Aug.. Oath 11 Sept...

@hssrp when should one expect to receive the “instructions to download the certificate” email? (My oath is on 6th)

I see people got it before getting their oath invite but I haven’t received mine yet. Should I be concerned or contact IRCC?

Nothing to be concerned about, some officers send the download instructions before even sending the oath invite email, some send it just a day or 2 before oath and some send right after oath.

In worst case, if for any technical reason if you don't get the email, it is still fine as we can easily register on the portal ourselves and then download the e-certificate after the oath is completed when it is ready for download.

Today I received an update that my Prohibition is marked as complete on 30th Aug 2024. Now waiting for Oath invitation.

Hi, I have been asked to give biometrics in the tracker on August 26th. But i havent received any email or instruction letter (though the tracker says so)
What should i do ? Do i have to wait ?

It takes a day or two and since we had long weekend you can expect further delay of 1 or 2 days.

As a next step, the Citizenship ceremony changes to in-progress and the citizenship date is updated in the tracker. In a couple of days depending on office, you get the oath invitation letter.

If the Fingerprints were requested on Aug 26th, you should have received the email by now. Can you check your spam folders? If you still don't find it, please call IRCC today as you need to complete citizenship fingerprints in 30 days if it came from Vancouver office.
