Got my Language and Physical presence completed today. Still waiting for BG and Prohibitions.

Did they asked you for FP and Interview? if so can you post the timeline for FP requested, date you completed the FP and date of interview.

ok looks like we are in similar boat.
I was asked to attend the interview on 25th July and my Language and Physical Presence was completed on same day. Prohibition was still in progress.

FP was requested on 19th July which I gave on 20th and was received on 13th Aug. Only difference is my Background was marked complete on15th Aug.

So I have only prohibition in progress which I assumed should have been marked completed either after interview or after FP. In your case they have both Background and Prohibition in progress.

I am almost certain that they missed out on marking that complete in our case. I raised a GCMS note will keep you posted on whatever updates I receive.

Hi,

Just to update, yesterday I got email for how to download the certificate.

Based on this I am assuming I will get an invitation letter soon for a date closer to 10th sept. However, I am flying for work on 13th September.

How and when am I able to request to push the ceremony date?

Will it get postponed indefinitely when request for a later date?

Btw great job hssrp with all your consistent messaging, knowledge and passion to help everyone. No matter how much I thank you for your efforts, its not enough.

You will get the Oath invite letter (mostly next week). You can respond to the email asking for a reschedule of oath and share the date of your return. They will put you back i the queue for oath once you return.

Unfortunately, there is no fixed timeline. Some got it rescheduled invite within 1 week of returning back and some are waiting for a few months for a new date. Wishing you good luck!

Thanks for the response! Also a quick question, I am thinking of a vacation outside Canada from November 1st week to December 1st week. You think it is safe to book the tickets and plan the everything, hoping that my oath ceremony will be done by then ? what you feel?
