Well, I didn't know what that was cause never had to apply for it. My spouse was on a visitors visa before we went to the land border.

Then what your spouse had was a TRV. Visit visa is a TRV

Yes that's true. New Delhi visa office was working on 25th. Their holidas are on Dec 25,26 and Jan 1st.
I guess that's true for other vo' s as well.
5 other people from the forum got DM from ndvo the same day.
Such a wonderful Christmas gift.

Hi all,

I applied to Sponsor my wife, I got an email requesting a proof of intent to return to Canada, Police clearance of Kuwait (my wife lived there for a while), 2 photos and Passport, VO: Cairo – Egypt on 15/10/2016, I sent the required documents and then they request the original Police clearance of Egypt and my lawyer has submitted it on 18/11/2016, till now there is no news; they have the passport for more than two months till now and no news, Is this timing is normal?.
Here is my timeline:
