Is there anybody left from May 2016?
I feel like I'm the only one and I'm getting upset.
Background checks were started Sept 29 after Interview was completed and passed.
I was told the b/ground checks might take as much as 2 months.
It will soon be 5 months.
I think I've reached my breaking point. I had a close family member die at the end of January
and my husband should have been here and should be here with me now. I'm alone.
And I asked my MP's office to follow-up, and they do, they send in an inquiry, and there's no reply
given to the inquiry.
This is just wearing me down. I feel broken.
Does anyone else ever have to wait this long for b/ground checks?
He's travelled to two countries besides, Canada. So home country where he lived with his natural family all his life.
Short vacation with me, fully documented to a country for tourism, staying at tourism locations for 8 days,
a short 9 day trip with a tourism group to another country, not the same as where we had vacation, again fully documented,
and it's a common trip for his background,
and then a long time with me in Canada over several years.
So not very much, two trips, one each to two countries for tourism, short trips fully documented,
plus all his stay with me in Canada. That's it for his whole life.
WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG??????? :'( :'( :'(
I was told our application is waiting for just one agency to complete its inquiry and send the result.
One agency is taking a long time to send back reports, but Immigration assured us they are ready to act
fast on our file as soon as they get the result from that foreign agency.
Helo friends,
I have a question that I hope you can answer.
if somebody is going to have a verbal proxy marriage that was not documented and he does not have a marriage certificate for this as it is not legal official marriage, does he have to report this to cic? Thank you so much in advanced for your help.
