I came on study permit I had given my biometrics previously and even on my account I could see my older biometrics, but they asked me to give again. I have applied for Inland Spousal Sponsorship.

I had applied spousal PR Canada Class on March 25th 2024.

Is it normal to not have my eligibility completed yet…it’s not even started.

Rest all is in-progress, Biometrics shows completed and Medical shows completed…..thats it.

Any inputs?

We applied on the 31st (inland) and apart from the AOR sent to sponsor, total silence and no further requests. The last ghost update in the tracker was almost a month ago. We went ahead and completed a medical exam for an OWP app.

An update

Applied PR for my wife (Canada Class) on 24th March 2024,
Today 20th June, we got Biometrics request.

Medical shows completed, biometrics showed completed in gckey portal but we still got request to do it not sure why.

Apart from this, I have a question hoping someone can clarify….does biometrics gets affected if you have mehendi/heena on hands fingers ?

I had seen several people receiving the AOR shortly after sending in the application, yet we hadn't received ours. So after receiving the medical request, I sent a webform in asking about the AOR and making sure the sponsors email address was correct. Finally sponsor received the AOR. Sponsor opened a tracker account with their UCI and the application number. We are not seeing anything on there about eligibility for sponsorship.
Nothing new on my tracker since May 13th. Now we are all at IRCC's mercy and it's a waiting game.

In my experience (and from what I've seen from other people's timelines) sponsor approval generally doesn't take too long after AOR, assuming everything is in order and the sponsor is deemed eligible.

We received ours just over a month after AOR.

Yes, as my post above states.... Application submitted March 10th, AOR (after contacting IRCC) May 29th. Still no SA. Hopefully soon.

I am in the same boat as well. Applied March 30. Received the sponsor AOR in 20 days but no biometrics request, medical nothing. It is so frustrating.
