I remember with my husband application I use to do the same until one day I just say f it and stop watching the process.. I even stop posting and then bomb, the updates keep rolling in.. it messes with your head I tell you lol but you guys will hear something soon .

Both of your timelines fit with other people on this thread. Hopefully you hear soon!

My gckey/tracker didn't have any updates between June 25 and October 25 when it changed to background check complete and final decision (applied March 8). So having no updates between that time is normal (but stressy!).

3/31 here and nothing -- checking once in the morning, and once in the evening. I suspect that the security / background checks have been completed for months and I'm waiting on the agent to see a reminder to follow up. Could be wrong. It'd sure be nice to have a little more transparency into the process but also understandable, given the nature of government and how overwhelmed they likely are.

Definitely eager to get this behind us and move on! Cheers everyone!

Hello, I just checked my gckey and it got updated but the background check says processing. Under final decision is says :

• November 22, 2024 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Is this normal?

Mine did the same. Background check updated shortly after - but when it appeared on the tracker said it had been completed a few days previous. Just a bit of weirdness.
