Yes. If you are legally married spouses then I think the marriage certificate is proof enough. But for us common-law folk, they have us fill out the form and sign with a notary.

Just received AOR2 email with request for IMM5409 which I thought was optional for some reason, and my FBI check which I received in the mail yesterday. With any luck we will have both documents scanned and sent by Friday. My application has been sent to Ottawa! We never received any email for AOR1 or SA. Application was received March 21.
I mailed mine on January 18th of this year, and received it on April 26th(dated April 18th) so it took 4 months for me with adequate fingerprints and no criminal history. I also sent a cashiers check instead of my credit card information and think that may have helped with processing times. The "official" waiting time they give you is around 16-18 weeks and climbing. If you need one and haven't sent a request for it yet, you should get to it ASAP.
I just received SA via snail mail, received 6 days after it was dated and I live less than 30 min drive from CPC-M. Talk about slow! I got my AOR2 before the SA letter got here! Also, my AOR1 was 4-15 so if yours was 4-21 you are probably getting SA as we speak. Good luck!
If you provide an email address, they are supposed to send it that way. However for some reason they occasionally send via snail mail despite the email address.

I checked their website yesterday and they're saying 13-15 weeks now. In a different thread, someone said a few days ago that their FBI clearance was received Feb 1st and their credit card just got charged (meaning its being processed).

Hi there, does anyone know if both the sponsor and the applicant receive a letter at the same time once final PR approval is made. Or is it one and not the other? Many thanks in advance.
