Oh, then wait for couple of days and see you should receive it this week

We share the same timeline deepax. Though I was asked for additional documents, which I immediately provided, I feel we should have received the SA by now.

I hoping the remaining process will be faster.

They didn't even ask for any additional documents for me. Really frustrating. 21 days since AOR1 and nothing.

Update: Still no SA but at least some news.

An agent had put in a note last week asking why the delay. Today, I managed to talk to an agent and she said they have acknowledged that they are going over the regular time, and that they need more time to process sponsorship. She also said that no documents or additional information is required. They just need more time, FWIW.

At least this agent was helpful. Some outright deny to even check on their system. One suggested I shouldn't call in to check about status for at least 6 weeks from the 39th day. I mean, WTF!

Our current timeline is:

March 10th - received
April 4th - Started processing
April 5th - AOR1
(according to eCas)

So 47 days since receipt and we're still waiting for SA. I finally got through today on the main CIC line (I had called maybe 4-5 times before and the system would just hang up on me). The call centre agent put an inquiry out for the case since it was passed the 39 days, not sure how effective that will be.

We're outland spousal, husband is from Mauritania. Very nerve racking to sit through the process.

I just called CIC. She (Francine) was super polite and very helpful. She asked me some security questions so I assume they've received my files. Is that my (AOR1)?

Than she said she'll put a note on my file for them to update my application. (so I'm guessing it hasn't been approved yet or has it and they need to update it to SA?) lol any code lingo agent?

She also gave me a UCI # which I just checked status online using both my info and my wife's info and nothing yet.

Well any news is good news so I'd suggest calling in too. Better than using the online webform they have. Seems they are super busy and e-mails are their last priority.

I still have not received an AOR email, but I was finally able to log into ECAS today using my(applicants) old UCI number. It shows that my application was received March 21 and they began processing on April 15th. Medical Results received on applicant side. Is this my AOR? Why would I not get an email after so long? Hoping to get SA very soon, good luck to everyone. Also, how do I put my timeline beside my username? Thanks!

you need to post 10 times. So 5 more times for you on you can see the timeline in your profile.

Still haven't received SA. So Just spoke to an CIC agent again, She said my file is in transit and that she cannot place a request to send a email confirmation.
I hope that we left over applicants might get the email at the same time this week.

@Deepax, Kanadianm : Hang in there my friends. Perhaps we might receive both SA and AOR2 at the same time

Fingers crossed.

So the agent earlier said it was approved for you, so that's still correct right? Just that you haven't gotten an email confirmation of it, but sponsorship has been approved?

Maybe, your file is in transit to India?! Hopefully that is the case.

Kind of sucks that some of us are stuck here, but I hope what I mentioned above is the case for you and wishing you speedy processing.

P.S.: Just talked to someone who had applied for his own PR last year, got married in December, and added his wife's name to his PR application this January. And guess what? His wife already received PR visa. This is so full of crap by CIC. Citizens getting shafted, while temporary residents getting speedy processing. What's worse? They don't even need to submit as much proof of relationship as a citizen needs to. CIC needs to get their priorities straight.

Thanks for your kind words Varadar…wishing you the same! Perhaps the "transit" bit is good news, sounds like it's on it's way somewhere, for sure. It would be wonderful to get to AOR2. I'm obsessively checking my email in the hopes of news from CIC all day.

Also Deepax - that is crazy! I'm envious of them.

We are all in the same boat... File around 10-03-2016... Hopefully, it comes sooner than later. Good luck to you as well. :)

Same here. Filed around 10th too. We received AOR1 on the same day Deepax.

I can finally access eCAS using UCI number and sponsor info to see both columns.

We got AOR 2 on 4/22/2016.

We also received notice to send our Undertaking Application and CSQ to Quebec, which we did on 4/22/2016. It was received in Montreal by Mme. Dalila this morning (4/26/2017). I received an email from CIC on 4/25/2016 stating, "In order for us to continue processing your application, we require the following documents: CSQ..."

I was under the impression that CIC would continue to process the PR application while the CSQ is being processed. Is that incorrect?

Hi, do they give you a deadline to send back CSQ?

I thought the same, VO processes your file while waiting for MIDI to send them the certificate.
