Our app status changed to Background Check - In Progress on the day we received RPRF payment request, i.e. Dec 22.
And then it changed to DM on Jan 16.
I think that depends on whether the primary applicant specified an email address on their application.
If I remember correctly, when an email has been specified, all correspondence goes to that email address in electronic form.
If the "Use of a Representative" form was also submitted with the application and contained an email address, correspondence goes to that email address instead.

Yes, I have requested email as means of communication. However, I was told by someone that PPR is requested officially via mail (paper trail). Just wondering. Thanks!

Is it allowed if my spouse applies for her self through Express Entry instead of I (being immigrant) apply for her?
(the aim is to get her case processed faster)
