@sam001 - Even I called them yesterday and they said that both application in background check. Regarding work permit as well the max time they said is 18th Dec, as per new timeline which is 128 days for work permit processing. So all we do is wait!! for PR i did not get medicals yet nor the Sponsor eligibility email or AIP. How about you?

Glad to hear it gives some hope - to be honest I delayed a bit posting on this forum because it felt like things were going fast for us and I didn't want anyone else to be discouraged. All that to say, I get the sense that there is no rhyme or reason for the speed at which anyone gets any of these things approved - fingers crossed that you start hearing from them soon as well for these other parts of the application

Yeah I think you're probably one of the lucky ones which is so great to see because from your timeline it seems that at least IRCC is not sleeping, lol. And please do update, I like to see at least someone progressing. Thanks for the wishes and hope you get approval soon too!

No update and it seems like things will be getting worse with IRCC and the wait game. The processing time of inland applications are now 13 months, owp 130 days

Can you share the number you used to call, I submitted in August 1st got aor on 31st and no update so far tracker shows Biometric and background in progress
it all depends , even few applicants from June haven't received bil yet ..
on my tracker it shows we do not need biometrics..
and application in progress for final decision
