The spreadsheet is to track the progress of the applicants to get some insights and trends on how long each stage would take. We have similar spreadsheets for every year since 2017.

The spreadsheet for 2024 can be accessed using this link, switch to the July tab for July data - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1P3V8UJOTwiiYd2TC8O5a5rKq4GlqpAXq9Zr1rfrScSc
Could you please add me to the spreadsheet? Submitted - 2 August 2024

Tracker has 2 business days delay and only updates from Tuesday to Saturday. You will most likely see the tracker updated tomorrow for the test scheduled, around 5 AM EST.
Hi,
As you said, the tracker has been updated today. It shows background completed on 9 July 2024.

Hi everyone, question about Test: any idea if there will be questions regarding current politics like who is ruling? who is opposition ? and will those be province wise for eg if I am from ON, then these question will be ON politics related?

Is there a trend where processing of people from Toronto being delayed compared to other locations? It kinda sucks cz I was hopeful my case would move a lot faster given how straightforward it is. :(

Based on my personal experience and from across threads. nobody actually knows the weightage across topics. But I can assure you that if you read the guide two to three times and take few practice test then you should be good enough to pass.

honestly it's very tough to predict. but at least we have some insights in this forum. My application back in 2022 - 23 was very different versus my wife's processing timeline now. Definitely the processing time has changed.. Anytime the applications can move forward or stuck in the same stage for a while. So we have to wait and watch.

you can get any thing on the test... but as long as you read the book (I ordered it but didnt read it xD), do practice tests and have common knowledge of canada and it's history on a whole you will pass. it is not province base. you may get questions about other provinces. like for example 5 of questions were about quebec even questions about it's flag xD. i'm ontario based. i don't recall any current affairs question on mine. i got 18/20 one attempt.
