I applied in beginning of June 2024 and everything went smooth till Fingerprint submission. Waiting for further update Since October 27th. Is this normal delay? How can i get the update where my application is stuck.

Submitted fingerprints on Oct 21st. Completed everything except background and prohibitions.
PASSED criminality but stuck on security screening
Which takes a lot of time, it doesn’t have timeline it can be 2 month or 2 yrs it’s all about waiting game and been patient.

Submitted fingerprints on Oct 21st. Completed everything except background and prohibitions.

Mine is the same too. applied on June 13. The last update October 17 they received my fingerprints. I requested GCMS, and I am still waiting.

Hello everyone!
After requesting to split our files in January 2025 (as my wife didn’t pass the test), my LPP finally turned green on March 8th and was updated today. Now just waiting for the oath letter and ceremony!
Application submited on June, 30, 2024.

may I ask whether you submit a webform or mail a physical request letter to the citizenship office? and have both of you passed the Background checks before requesting the split?

Sure. We initially submitted webforms, but they didn’t seem to be effective. So, at the end of January, my wife and I each sent a signed letter instead.
Regarding the background check, yes, both had successfully passed it since around August 2024.
